2.0 Mission Statement
2.1 Vision(Goal)

To empower as self reliant citizens, the poorest of the poor but talented school - going children at least upto their 10th standard by providing them scholarships / assistanceship, offered by our sponsors in honour of their mentors / icons or unsung heroes & freedom fighters of Indian independence struggle.

2.2 Mission(Objectives)

In order to achieve the above goal, People's Development Centre approaches all intending and interested contributors/funding agencies/bodies national as well as international, to build up rapport with them for offering stipends/financial assistance to the needy& deserving nominee. The sponsors have option to choose amongst the following categories, any personality of their choice as part of their aid to the :

 

  • Memorial stipend in honour of martyrs & freedom fighters: Memorial stipends in the memory of martyrs, patriots, freedom fighters, national heroes or gallant warriors as a mark of respect who made supreme sacrifices to the nation.
  • Memorial stipend in the sacred memory of noble souls:In the loving memory of spiritual gurus, saints, pious persons, deity or beloved teachers who guided us to tread the righteous path in life.
  • Memorial stipend in the everlasting memory of close relatives:In the cherished memory of late parents, close relatives, friends or well wishers who played selfless and significant role in making us stand on our own feet.
  • Stipend floated on auspicious occasions:To raise stipends on birthdays, marriage/death anniversaries, festivals, miraculous escape from death, firm resolutions made on the eve of new year or any other auspicious occasion which proved turning point in one's life.
  • Stipend on foundation day of the establishments:To approach respective organizations for sponsoring stipends on the foundation/raising day of their Units.
  • Sponsor awareness campaigns and need-based camps:To approach interested individuals, banks, firms/companies for sponsoring awareness campaigns and need-based free medical camps, career counseling and guidance camps, sports, eradication of superstitions/ social evils etc. as part of their social commitment and corporate responsibility towards society.
  • Collaborative stipend:To collaborate with like - minded individuals / bodies/funding agencies located in India and abroad to achieve above mentioned objectives.



2.3 Values
  • The deserving candidates are thoroughly screened by an expert committee before release of stipends/fellowships/assistanceship.
  • Stipends/fellowships are offered to the needy and deserving beneficiariesonly. Financial aid is strictly performance - based.
  • Financial aid is provided irrespective of caste, creed, color, language or state.
  • Updated list of existing contributors/donors/sponsors and their corresponding beneficiaries is prepared. Their photographs are uploaded on the website of the society as objective evidence.
  • Full contribution of the donor is transferred to the beneficiary without deduction.
  • Complete transparency and accountability is maintained while offering financial aid, before and afterwards.
  • Performance report of each beneficiary is sent to the sponsor at the end of each year.
  • The stipend stands terminated in case the recipient misuses the assistance for the purpose other than for which it was intended.
